" ANGELS WATCH'N O'ER YOU"

 

 When your trials discourage you, and you feel like giving up,
 Remember…an angel is watch'n o'er you,
 All day and all night!

 When you are afraid of the dark of the night and the storm,
 Remember…an angel is watch'n o'er you,
 All day and all night!

 When you are oh so lonely and no one seems to care,
 Remember…an angel is watch'n o'er you,
 All day and all night!

 When autumn time of life comes on and you feel forgotten,
 Remember…an angel is watch'n o'er you,
 All day and all night!

 An angel of the Lord is watch'n o'er you,
 Wrapping his wings of love 'round
 All day and all night!

 

This poem was written for my daughter, Rachel Crank, who worries too much, to remind her of God’s angels around us ministering to us and taking care of us and our families. 

Matthew 4:11 – “…behold the angels came and ministered unto Him (Jesus.)” 

Psalm 91:11 – “For He shall give His angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.” 

Psalm 34:7 – “The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear Him and delivereth them.” 

Hebrews 1:13-14 – “But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make mine enemies thy footstool? Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?”
